INTRO TO DRUMS OVERVIEW
INTRO TO DRUMS LEVEL I
- Drumroll please! Intro to Drums will give your child a solid foundation on the drums and set them up so they can hold their own as the drummer of a rock band. Whether your child has finished our Bigger Beats program or is starting to learn drums for the first time, this is the class for them.
- PREREQUISITE: None
- PROGRAM LENGTH: 24 weeks
INTRO TO DRUMS LEVEL II
- Let's keep this party going! Intro to Drums - Level II will build off the drum foundation your child built in Level I while challenging them to explore new musical territory. Level II is also the perfect class to take while your child is in our Jr. Rock Band program.
- PREREQUISITE: Intro to Drums - Level I or a placement jam.*
- PROGRAM LENGTH: 24 weeks
* A placement jam is when we invite you and your child in for a relaxed, 15 minute jam session so we can see where they're at on their instrument. This allows us to recommend the program that's best suited to them.
WHAT EXACTLY IS INTRO TO DRUMS?
Intro to Drums will give your child the perfect introduction to drums in a way that gets them excited about learning music. We have a custom curriculum that uses rock classics and kid-centered teaching techniques to get your child pumped about drums while challenging them to grow as a musician.
HOW DO I KNOW IF INTRO TO DRUMS IS RIGHT FOR MY CHILD?
If your child is between the ages of 7-10 and they're first starting to learn drums, then Intro to Drums is a great choice for them.
Intro to Drums is also a the perfect next step for students who have completed our Bigger Beats program.
The small group environment keeps learning relaxed and fun while infusing some extra awesome energy into their learning experience.
