GUITAR TEACHER

We're looking for an engaging guitar teacher who is able to teach beginner to advanced guitar students. Ideally, this role will expand to teaching other instruments as needed, including piano, drums and vocals, and may also include leading group classes and/or Rock Bands. 

Ability to work with students ages 5-18 is an asset. Must be working towards or have a degree in Music and/or Education. Backbeat alumni who have taken formal lessons with us for more than five years will also be considered. 

Must be available weekday late afternoons/evenings.

DRUM TEACHER

We're looking for an enthusiastic drum teacher who is able to teach beginner to advanced drum students. Ideally, this role will expand to teaching other instruments as needed, including bass, guitar and piano, and may also include leading group classes and/or Rock Bands. 

Ability to work with students ages 5-18 is an asset. Must be working towards or have a degree in Music and/or Education. Backbeat alumni who have taken formal lessons with us for more than five years will also be considered. 

Must be available weekday afternoons/evenings.

We're looking for an energetic piano teacher who is able to teach beginner to advanced piano students. Ideally, this role will expand to teaching other instruments as needed, including guitar, drums and vocals, and may also include leading group classes and/or Rock Bands.

Teaching music might sound like "just another job," but we believe it's alot more than that. We believe teaching is an opportunity to change lives. And that by teaching, our own lives are changed. Our goal is to make this the job that makes you even better.

WE JAM AT EACH AND EVERY STAFF MEETING.

We do this because it makes us better teachers. It makes us better rock band leaders. It also gives us the chance to practice on instruments that might not be our strongest. And it's a rad version of team bonding.
